James E. Talmage and Joseph T. Kingsbury presidential records 1893-1915

James E. Talmage was the President of the University of Utah from 1894 to 1897. Joseph T. Kingsbury was the President of the University of Utah from 1892 to 1894 and from 1897 to 1916. This collection contains correspondence, reports, budgets, and scrapbooks pertaining to the administrative, departmental, and financial affairs of the Kingsbury and Talmage administrations. Included in this material is a scrapbook of clippings regarding the 1915 Academic Freedom Controversy.
